A phone call that gets you out of anything.
Tap a contact. A live AI voice picks up and talks back like a real person. Use it to walk home safer, or leave a bad date early. Nobody around you can tell the difference.
Why people use it
Some moments need a believable excuse
You are walking to your car late at night. A date turns uncomfortable. A stranger will not take no for an answer. In each case, a phone call changes what the people around you see. You look expected somewhere. You look like you are in touch with someone.
Walking alone
Late walks, parking garages, transit stops. A live call gives you something to do with your attention and a reason to keep moving.
Leaving a conversation
A bad date, a pushy salesperson, a family event that runs long. Take the call, say you have to go, and leave.
Working alone
Home showings, deliveries, repair visits. You meet strangers on the job. Taking a call mid-visit looks normal.
Why not a recorded fake call? A recording plays a script. It cannot react to you, so it stops making sense as soon as you answer in your own words or someone nearby listens. With Calling-Now, the caller hears what you say and replies in real time.
How it works
Four steps. No script.
Set up once
Import your contacts or create your own. Calling-Now reads your contacts and never changes them. Each contact gets a voice automatically. Pick one trusted contact to receive alerts.
Start the call
Tap any contact, or use a trigger you set ahead of time: double tap, triple tap, the iPhone Action Button, or a quick volume button press.
It rings, then it talks
The call rings one to three times, your choice. Then the caller picks up and holds a live conversation. You say what you need to say. The caller answers.
If it turns serious
Say your duress phrase during the call. Calling-Now sends your trusted contact a silent text with your location. Nothing changes on your screen, and the call keeps going.
Trigger limits, stated plainly: double tap and triple tap work on a locked phone. The Action Button needs an iPhone 15 Pro or later. A volume press works only while the app is open. Duress phrases are part of the Subscription and One-Time plans, and they listen only during a live call.
Safety by design
It looks like a phone call, not an app
A safety tool only works if the people near you believe the call. So the call screens are built to read as an ordinary phone call to anyone who glances at your screen. You see a name, a timer, and the usual call controls. That is all.
-
No AI labels on the call screensNothing on screen mentions AI, a voice system, or a fake call.
-
Your phone's own status bar stays on topTime, battery, and signal come from your phone, not from a drawing of them.
-
Alerts are silentWhen a duress alert goes out, there is no sound, no banner, and no confirmation on your screen.
-
Recording shows nothingIf you record a call, no indicator appears. Recordings stay on your device and cannot be exported.
-
Plain, familiar colorsThe bright brand colors on this website stay out of the call screens.
Calling-Now is not an emergency service. It does not contact police or 911. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number. See the Terms of Service.
Built for two moments
One call, two reasons to use it
Walk home safer
Trigger a real conversation the second you feel unsure. Trusted contacts get a silent alert with your location.
Exit any situation
A bad date. A pushy salesperson. One tap starts a call only you know isn't real.
It actually talks back
No script. No recording playback. The AI hears what you say and responds in real time.
Trigger it without looking
Double tap, triple tap, or your phone's Action Button. Works even when your phone is locked.
